Indian Air Force (AFCAT)

The Indian Air Force has released a notice on the AFCAT (January 2024) recruitment process for the Technical and Non-Technical Flying and Ground Duty branches, as well as the NCC Special Entry program for courses starting in January 2025. Candidates can read the notification and apply online if interested in the job specifics and meet the eligibility requirements.

Application Fee (Indian Air Force AFCAT)

  1. For AFCAT entry: Rs. 550/-
  2. For NCC Special Entry: Nil
  3. Payment Mode: Through Credit/Debit Cards/Net banking
 

Important Dates (Indian Air Force AFCAT)

  1. Starting Date to Apply Online: 01-12-2023 (11:00 AM)
  2. Closing Date to Apply Online: 30-12-2023 (11:00 PM)
  3. Date of Online Exam: 16 to 18-02-2024 (Tentatively)

Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025)

For Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry:
  1. Minimum Age: 20 Years
  2. Maximum Age : 24 Years
  3. Candidates born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive)
For the Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch:
  1. Minimum Age: 20 Years
  2. Maximum Age : 26 Years
  3. Candidates were born between January 2, 1999, and January 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive).

QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Candidates should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and
  2. Graduation (any Disciplines) or BE/B Tech degree or Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India in relevant Engg disciplines
  3. Degree or PG Degree (Relevant Subjects)
